How Does the Content Creator Subscription Work?
With the Content Creator subscription, the app's functions can also be used with your own content.
That means:
You already have audio material (playalongs, sound files from your notation software, recordings from concerts, etc.), or record your pieces yourself exactly as you need them for use with band-on. In the next step, you upload the audio files of the pieces to our server using your personal login and add information about the arrangement parts, as well as tempo and key. In this step, you can also enter additional data (e.g. cover image, composer, arranger, etc.). In the final step, you will then be able to share your recording with the members of your ensemble, your students, etc.
How Much Does the Content Creator Subscription Cost?
The subscription fee depends on the number of accounts and pieces required.
We charge $ 1 per account per month, starting with a minimum of 8 accounts.
Example: For an ensemble of 10 people, $ 10 per month is charged and 10 pieces can be uploaded.
If you subscribe for a year, you get 2 months for free. This means you can use your Content Creator subscription for 12 months and only pay for 10 months.
These prices are valid during the pilot phase 2024 and may change again in 2025. Please contact us to discuss your project.
Who is the Content Creator Subscription For?
In general, the Content Creator subscription is designed for all musicians and teachers who want to use their own content with band-on and make it available to others. It doesn't matter whether the content is demos, original compositions, concert recordings or sound files from notation software. The essential thing is that the material is available in the form of audio files (mp3).
Here are some examples of how band-on can be used:
Choirs
You sing in a choir and want to rehearse a new piece, but there is no reference recording and you find it difficult to practise using only the sheet music? Then the Content Creator subscription is perfect. Ask the choir director if they would like to record the different parts for you. Alternatively, you can also ask the composers if they would provide you with audio files from the notation software.Teachers
Are you a music teacher and want to provide exciting lessons? Offer your students your individual lesson content via the Content Creator subscription. Especially when practicing at home, your students will be able to refer to the recording again and again and won't have to rely exclusively on the sheet music. band-on also offers helpful functions, such as the recording function.
