What is band-on?

With band-on, your choir, ensemble or band comes directly to your home and you are optimally supported when practicing. Our innovative music player offers numerous functions that help you to experience yourself in the overall sound.

Are you a member of a choir? In band-on it is possible to listen to your voice, the other voices or all voices together. Adjust the mix exactly how it helps you the most.

Can't play a piece as fast as your band plays it? No problem! The pieces in band-on can be played more slowly. You can also listen to specific passages and play along.

No matter which ensemble you play in, upload your recordings and start practicing with band-on.

In addition to your own recordings, you can find other tunes in various styles in our store to expand your repertoire.

FAQs

We support different login methods: email and password as well as login with Google and Apple ID. Make sure that you always log in with the same method you used to register. If you have problems logging in, please check the following:

  • Use the correct email address and password for your account.
  • If you have forgotten your password, you can change it using the "Reset password" function. Also check your spam folder if the corresponding email does not appear in your inbox.
  • If you have signed in via Google or Apple ID, continue to use this method to sign in.

If you continue to experience problems, please contact our support team for further assistance.

Yes, this is possible! As soon as you have downloaded a piece of music or played it once, it is automatically saved on your device. This means you can access it at any time, even without an internet connection. If you want to free up storage space on your device, you can delete the tracks at any time. Your purchase will be retained in any case and you can download the track again at any time.

Currently, band-on only supports wired devices or Bluetooth headsets with a built-in microphone during a recording. If your Bluetooth device does not have a microphone, band-on will automatically switch to the internal speaker during recording. We are working on a technical solution for this problem.

When you open a track for the first time, the audio files are downloaded to your device. This process may take some time depending on your internet speed. We therefore recommend using a fast internet connection. Once the track has been downloaded, it is saved on your device and can be played immediately at any time, even without an internet connection.

The count-in function can be switched on or off manually at the bottom left of the player. Make sure that the count-in function is activated in order to use the count-in function.

Probably you have activated the loop function. You can deactivate it in the player to the right of the "Play/Pause" icon. You can also check the Arrangement View to see which parts of the piece are being played.

Once you have created a recording, you can listen to it in the mixer under "My recording". To share the recording, click on the "Share" icon. From there, you can easily share the recording with others.

Our productions are developed for different levels of difficulty. We therefore only offer levels for selected pieces. If levels are available, they are automatically displayed in the mixer. For tracks without this feature, you can still use the other features of band-on to enhance your music experience.

You can download band-on for free and try it out with our demo tracks. For additional content, you can buy individual pieces or collections in the app. The prices for this content vary and are indicated directly with the respective piece or collection. We also offer a Content Creator subscription that allows you to upload your own pieces and share them with friends, ensembles, choirs or bands.
